Just the Facts

Well, God knows there are a ton of different kinds of Nail supplements from which to choose. They may be gotten over the counter, or through internet/mail catalog suppliers. For me, the latter has been far cheaper and more convenient. Sometimes it can be hard to see what you get in a bottle, though.

That is, the Supplement Facts panel is not always easy to see on the internet sites. So, yours truly will compare two HS&N products I’ve got in my hand.

The first is from a mail order catalog that I usually call in to place an order. It’s easier to compare facts on paper than from screens on my phone and in this case they also have a complete selection of other supplements. Plus, they also heavily discount multiples of an item so that you can get one or two free bottles.

On a side by side comparison, their formula has less of everything that has been included on Mauricettes’ panel, and the latter has things not even included on the other product like Vitamin C.

Mauricettes in fact has so much C that you don’t need to order it separately. I see they don’t have Vitamin E, either. Though both have Biotin - only half as much is in the other product. Same for the amount of Alpha Lipoic Acid.

Mauricettes has a robust proprietary blend of herbs and more collagen or skin-enhancing ingredients.

So as long as I’ve been taking it the Mauricettes version has held up my nails, which had been prone to chip and peel, better. In fact, I haven’t had any peeling in two weeks.
